Today, The Collingwood Hotel is Liverpool’s pub home for live sport, a hearty meal from J’s Kitchen, live entertainment and a beer with mates.
However, the hotel has been a centre piece of the community for decades as one of the last remaining references to the tiny lost village of Collingwood, a small working centre in the heart of Liverpool built in the 1800’s. During this time, Collingwood Hotel the local watering hole for the workers of the surrounding factories to wind down and take a load off.
What’s changed right? While our pony races have turned to live sport and we’ve undergone some big changes (our 160” TV for starters), our community remains at the heart of the pub.
We reckon…all modesty aside… this is why we draw crowds by the hundreds for title fights, footy matches and weekend meals.
